INDIANOLA --- Victor V. Tilley Sr., 90, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2000, in Indianola.
Mr. Tilley was a native of Arkansas and had been a resident of Indianola for 58 years. He was a retired agent for Railway Express Agency and co-owner of Tilley's Shop. He was a charter member, elder and teacher of the Dorsett Drive Christian Church in Indianola.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Blanche Goss Tilley.
Survivors include a daughter, Jacquie Tilley Turner of Greenville; a son, Victor V. Tilley Jr. of Gulfport; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the Tilley home, 404 Chapman, Indianola. A service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Dorsett Drive Christian Church with burial in Indianola City Cemetery. Card Funeral Home in Indianola is in charge of arrangements.
The family prefers memorials to Dorsett Drive Christian Church.
